Anime News You Missed This Week

Anime News You Missed This Week

All right, folks. I’ve got some spicy stuff today. And no, I’m not talking about that type of stuff, you degenerates. So, get your head out of that gutter. It’s for another day. Wink. I’m tired of making those reviews and ranking videos. And don’t worry, I’m not going to stop making them cuz you folks love these type of videos. I’m just trying something new today. I’m going to be covering everything that happened in the anime world in the last couple weeks. So, get ready. I’m putting Wikipedia to shame today. First off, a new anime was announced a couple weeks back and it’s called, “Does it count if I lose my virginity to an android?” What?

5 cm per second is getting a liveaction adaptation and a trailer was for that. And honestly, it looks pretty decent cuz although it’s from the same guy who made movies like Suzu and Your Name, I guess 5 centimeters per second is a type of movie that can actually be adapted into liveaction and it probably needs it. The anime was released 18 years ago, but the makers really do need to step up their game with their best form because this for me is one of the best Shankai films. So, if it wants to be anything like the original, and the trailer did give me some hope, it definitely looks like it’s going to be a better adaptation than Omniscient Reader.

And talking about Omnisient Reader, more promotional stuff came out for the movie. And if you are a hardcore fan of the source material like me, it’s getting grimmer and grimmer cuz what the hell did they do to Bihung? Dude looks like Dorman from Teimu. The movie is called Omnisient Reader: The Prophecy. And if you have read the mona or novel, you should already understand from the title alone that the makers didn’t do much research about the show. And it seems the movie isn’t even trying to please the original fandom. It just wants to attract the Kdrama folks. So, if you are a Kdrama fan and haven’t read the original story, I guess you could check it out. But if you’re like me, I think it would be best for us to stick to the 2D genre. And while we’re on that page, let’s dive into some more Manwood news. So, first off, it’s almost confirmed that Lis will be getting an anime adaptation. And that’s some really good news. And I’m genuinely happy about this one cuz if it’s well done and not turned into a PowerPoint presentation, I’m looking at you, TBate. This series has a lot of potential to be great. And for folks who don’t know what I’m talking about, the series is about a society controlled by folks with superpowers. And it’s a really great read. But coming back to Omnicient Reader here for a second, the Sword Saint was finally introduced into the story, and I have to say, Mommy is looking nice. The story is only going to get better from here, too.

Talking about getting better, the T-Bait mana is almost at the juiciest part of the story, and by the time I post this video, it might have already started. If you are one of those trash heads who keep hating the series, saying that it doesn’t deserve the recognition it gets, get ready to be shocked, cuz the absolute peak is here. As I’m already talking about TBait, I have something else to tell you, and it’s not that great. The anime adaptation of The Beginning After the End, which everyone loved, has its season 2 confirmed. I just can’t. I can’t anymore. Who in the actual hell thought that it was a good idea to make a season 2 of this disaster? I understand that it’s part of the 24 episodes that were supposed to be released together, but still, why not stop this abomination? The only thing this is doing is ruining the image of the original source material.

But next, the author of one of the most popular mana, Shadow, is about to get a mana adaptation. And this is huge cuz after Lord of the Mysteries gets a new mana adaptation, it looks like Shadow Slave is next. So, it seems the light novel community will be eating really well. But that also increases the risk of us seeing another abomination. Like, well, I’ve mentioned enough. Let’s move on, shall we? Talking about Lord of the Mysteries, after releasing a million of the character trailers and PVs that looked more epic than all the Elder Ring games combined, they have finally announced that the series will be available on Crunchyroll and it will be dubbed in not just one, but eight languages. So yeah, get ready for some other worldly experience. The first episode of the anime should be released by the time I upload the video. So let me know what you guys think in the comments down below. And we’ve got some great news for the Demon Slayer fans. The upcoming movie of the series is aid to be released in 80 countries. Oh, you bet your butt. I just said 80. And it will be starting on September 12th, which is about 2 months after the release in Japan. So, get ready. It’s almost here, folks. And talking about upcoming movies, a key visual for the upcoming Chainsaw Man movie was released, and it’s looking awesome. I don’t know why, but I’m getting Akira and Neon Genesis vibes from this. Maybe it’s because of the red color palette. What do you think about this visual? Let me know down in the comments.

So, the guy who made Sunny Boy is working on its next project, which is reportedly going to be an anime movie, and I’m adding that to my list cuz if you watch Sunny Boy, you already know that this movie is going to be good. And if you haven’t watched Sunny Boy yet, what are you doing? Add that to the top of your watch list right this instant. Next, an anime called Days with My Stepsister is not getting a second season for now. There were a lot of rumors saying the second season was in production, but it has been confirmed that they have not yet started working on it. And honestly, I couldn’t care less about it because I haven’t watched the first season and I’m just not into that sibling relationship kind of stuff cuz then I imagine my siblings. I’m pretty sure you degenerates have. So, let me know if I should watch it. And next, I’ve got a rumor going around the internet and it’s pretty interesting. So reportedly all the works of Shiniro Watanabe are part of the same universe. And if it’s true, this news is huge because this works include Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Lazarus, and so much more. So they are all connected, we could possibly get a crossover, but I think that probably won’t happen cuz all them happen so far apart in time that it’s practically impossible for a character from one show to appear in the other unless they bring in the concept of time travel.

Now, let’s dive into some older news, but Baruto season 2 is now in production, and it’s reportedly going to turn into a seasonal anime. This means that it will be released in the same way as Bleach’s thousand-year Blood War arc. So, this means the only anime that will be going on with the old tradition of releasing episodes all year long is One Piece. And talking about One Piece, Toy Animations, the company that animates One Piece, is reportedly interested in using artificial intelligence in its animation. and Oda, the author of One Piece, is rumored to be on board with it. Now, this is some pretty serious news cuz if this is done and it gets the green light from fans, the whole anime industry just might be changed. Everyone in another studio will then be using AI and anime will start to look different in general. Although, it might be good in certain ways. We’ll just have to see.

Now, let’s move on to the more recent news and events. Jiu-Jitsu Kaizen is going to have an official event on July 6th, and I’m assuming that’s still in the future cuz hopefully I’ll be able to post this video before that. And if that’s not the case, I might have messed up. Anyway, the author of Jiu Kaizen will be there. And we might be able to get some sort of footage from season 3. But that’s just me hoping for it. And speaking of hoping, I really do hope you guys like this video cuz I do something like this every now and then. That totally depends on you, my lovely fresh gremlins.

Up next is probably the biggest news in the last couple of weeks, and that is Rent a Girlfriend is ending its manga in the most bizarre way possible. What the hell was that ending? And I’m not going to lie, I think that was the best ending this piece of trash could have gotten. So, after going on for more than 320 chapters, yes, you heard me right. It went on for more than 300 chapters. For comparison, Attack on Titan went on for more than only 139 chapters, and Demon Slayer ended at chapter 206. And after all that, the author of the series decides to troll its fandom in the most bizarre way possible. So, after all that happened between Kazya and Chisaru, Chisaru still flat out rejected the dude. [Music] And there is nothing more deserved in the world than that. Cuz I’ve had enough of this piece of crap anime. Just the after the first episode of the anime, some guy on the internet had absolutely no chill and a concerning amount of free time decided to calculate the total amount of money Kazuya had spent on Chisaru throughout the 300 chapters, and that is $250,000. All I have to say to that is that the guy probably deserved it.

That’s not all of it. If you didn’t know, the author of this show had a crush on Chisaroo as well. And yes, the dude fell for a character he made, and he had to take it one step further. So, on the last panel of the mana, he drew Chiseru getting married. But guess who’s the guy next to her? It’s the author. The freaking author. The The guy drew himself getting married to the lead character of a series. This has got to be one of the biggest pranks anyone has pulled off in anime history. And as a fellow degenerate, I kind of respect the dude for it.

And that’s a wrap for the day, folks.
